Another very meaningful post. Joy, to me, comes from maintaining an open heart … refusing to shut ourselves down either from our own insecurities/fears or in reaction to outside events. Certainly, the more difficult the events, or inner emotions, the more difficult it is to keep ourselves open … but if we can figure that out, and maintain an open, intimate connection with God … we will know Joy.
Joy.
My good friend Eileen Caddy MBE, dedicated her last four years contemplation and experience to Joy, and wrote a piece for my husband and I entitled Joy for our weding.
Beautiful! I’ll bet it is a beautiful song … I’d love to hear it :-).
Sorry- I didn’t make that very clear-no she wrote a piece of inspired writing called Joy to be read at our wedding.
Ah, well then … I would love to read it, if you care to share :-).
Will Do. Very Soon.
