The Overlapping In-Between

As humans, we constantly have this desire to push the limits … to pursue our dreams, or things we have yet to dream of but keep searching for.  In doing so, we create attachments … attachments to people, possessions, ideals, fantasies, etc.  Many times, these dreams or fantasies we pursue are cycles in our lives that keep trying to resolve themselves until we learn the lesson.  If we keep running away, or shoving it down … we’ll never learn, and be doomed to constantly go through worse and worse versions of our greatest fears.

This is where the crossover between Eastern and Western philosophies (that I mentioned from the quotes in my prior post, “Float In The Change“) come together.  Osho talked about floating in the river of change; to let go of attachments and allow change to simply BE all around you … and that in that space you would find that one inner core that never changes within … that God-seed of Love.  Yet the quote from Mark Twain talked about letting go of imposed limitations and pursuing your dreams to the utmost … to go out into the world.  One of these seems active, and the other seems passive.  It is my opinion that these two perspectives overlap … and that this is the space we are supposed to live life in.

There is a place, in the overlapping in-between, where we can both let go and yet still pursue that which is fulfilling to us.  The trick is to never cling to what we crave, or shove away what we loathe … to never let them shut our hearts off to our wonderful connection with God … just allow everything to be.  Sit back within yourself and watch as everything unfolds all around you … and then simply act when that Divine prompting makes itself known.

In this space we can maintain the perspective of accomplishing our goals, while still allowing Change to play its necessary role in our lives.  Life IS CHANGE … EVERYTHING changes.  The more we try to prevent this from happening, the more miserable our lives will be … the trick is maintaining the things that give us meaning in life without trying to make them be exactly what they were in the Past.

Relationships change; but Love can still endure.  Careers change; but fulfillment can still be had.  Our bodies change; but new parts of ourselves are awakened in the process that are there to be enjoyed.  The world changes … people change … and we have no control over that.

So we can just let go of all that … Change will happen.  Accept it, and let your attachments fall away … and then move forward as your True Self to what you feel drawn and compelled to do in life.  That is where Happiness and Fulfillment will be.

Religion4All is an idea: that every human being (no matter their race, religion, sexuality, social status, lifestyle, or any other possible factor) is LOVED by God; just … as … they are.

We all are loved by God, and NO religion or person has a monopoly on it. Every single person on this planet is loved equally by God … SO many are cut off from God because they are told they don’t belong. God loves everyone … we ALL are beautiful creations … we don’t need to cringe when we hear the words “God”, or “religion”, or their judgments … God LOVES us all!

There is no requirement to change in order to be LOVED by God, or to LOVE God. God is LOVE, and LOVE is God … period. There is no one who God loves more than anyone else … there are only those who choose to LOVE more … to love God more, and consequently then to love each other more. In doing so, we grow closer to God … and know God.

By opening our hearts, and minds to God (free of boundaries like religion, or social trends); by LOVING God … we are exactly where we are meant to be. If we maintain that openness, never allowing any person or event to make us close our hearts, we will be guided by God to be who we are meant to be.

In that space of openness we can then live a life of LOVE, and be guided to where we are meant to be … forever in LOVE.
