The Pearl Fisher
My words for meditation today. Dive deeply into the depths of yourself, and awaken the transformation that is already within you … waiting. Awaken to that which you do not yet know … if you think you do know, you haven’t fully awakened yet. For to be awakened to it means to be aware that that there is never a moment of triumphant arrival … we are ALWAYS evolving; always awakening to new dawns. To “know already” is to go back into that stasis of old … standing still; deteriorating in our own obstinance. Swim deeper still and seek out your Pearl … I call it Love, and sometimes … God.

We all are loved by God, and NO religion or person has a monopoly on it. Every single person on this planet is loved equally by God … SO many are cut off from God because they are told they don’t belong. God loves everyone … we ALL are beautiful creations … we don’t need to cringe when we hear the words “God”, or “religion”, or their judgments … God LOVES us all!
There is no requirement to change in order to be LOVED by God, or to LOVE God. God is LOVE, and LOVE is God … period. There is no one who God loves more than anyone else … there are only those who choose to LOVE more … to love God more, and consequently then to love each other more. In doing so, we grow closer to God … and know God.
By opening our hearts, and minds to God (free of boundaries like religion, or social trends); by LOVING God … we are exactly where we are meant to be. If we maintain that openness, never allowing any person or event to make us close our hearts, we will be guided by God to be who we are meant to be.
In that space of openness we can then live a life of LOVE, and be guided to where we are meant to be … forever in LOVE.

21 Day Meditation Challenge!
If meditation is something that you are unfamiliar with, and perhaps that makes it a little bit intimidating? Here is a great introduction to learning how to meditate. Anyone, of ANY faith, can do these meditations. God wants to connect with you in a meaningful way. Whatever your faith is, when you go into meditation you simply use that as your core … I consider myself a Christian at my core (I am willing to learn from all faiths as well), and so that is where I take my own personal meditations. There is no reason to have some sort of weird, “Oh my gosh, they’re going to turn me into an ‘Ommmm’-ing weirdo.” kind of mentality. Don’t allow the judgement of other people to keep you from connecting with your Creator in a meaningful and life changing way. Meditation is the truest form of prayer that there is.
I personally got a great deal out of this 21 Day Meditation Challenge last year, and I have been meditating for a long time. It is easily accessible for a beginner, but has very deep meaning that is true and good for anyone at any level. Give it a try … let go of your fears, and discover the vast world that is YOU … your True Self … deep down under all the layers of everything built up in this life.
