Every day, every moment of every day, we are presented with two choices: to be either Actionary or Reactionary.

Being Actionary comes from a place of centeredness … where your heart is open, and you are connected to the Universe; to God.

Reactionary activities happen when we either consciously, or unconsciously, allow our hearts to close … from that point on, until we can let go and open our hearts again, every action we make will be Reactionary.

An example from my own life:

I often have vivid dreams, usually several in the course of one night.  Sometimes they are epic dreams that describe me as a completely different person, in another world.  Sometimes these dreams are joyous reunions with loved ones lost. Sometimes they are prophetic dreams that tell me something about either my own life, or someone else’s.  Mostly though, they are my own fears and paranoia played out on the movie screen of my mind … except that it is no movie; I am actually there living through all of it.  For years I worked to gain mastery over these dreams; to overcome my own fears.  That was Reaction … now I simply stay open and allow the dreams to be – to see what I can learn from them.  Sometimes I fail in this as well.

Yesterday was such a day.  I had the same dream, over and over … constant rejection … and even though I let it go and worked to keep my heart open, the dream persisted in returning.  By the morning I was exhausted, and annoyed.    It affected my actions for the entire morning.  I was impatient while driving (as a Reaction to my feelings from the dreams), I wasn’t focused on my work and therefore forgot things I normally wouldn’t (as a Reaction to both my dreams AND my inconsiderate driving), and so it went; on and on.

Until I stopped.  I sat down, and MADE myself meditate.  I connected to God, and just sat there basking; listening.  I opened the heart that had gotten closed, and my actions for the rest of the day became Actionary again.

Had I done that as soon as I woke up … I would have spared others from my Reactionary behavior.  Who knows whether I ran across other people behaving in Reactionary patterns as well, and thus my own actions affected theirs adversely … on and on the Reaction goes.

We don’t know the ripples that we cause when we cast the pebble of our actions into the Pool of Life.  Lives can be changed, or lost, … forever .. because of the simplest things.

So keep your hearts open to God, my friends, and I will continually endeavor to do the same :-).

Religion4All is an idea: that every human being (no matter their race, religion, sexuality, social status, lifestyle, or any other possible factor) is LOVED by God; just … as … they are.

We all are loved by God, and NO religion or person has a monopoly on it. Every single person on this planet is loved equally by God … SO many are cut off from God because they are told they don’t belong. God loves everyone … we ALL are beautiful creations … we don’t need to cringe when we hear the words “God”, or “religion”, or their judgments … God LOVES us all!

There is no requirement to change in order to be LOVED by God, or to LOVE God. God is LOVE, and LOVE is God … period. There is no one who God loves more than anyone else … there are only those who choose to LOVE more … to love God more, and consequently then to love each other more. In doing so, we grow closer to God … and know God.

By opening our hearts, and minds to God (free of boundaries like religion, or social trends); by LOVING God … we are exactly where we are meant to be. If we maintain that openness, never allowing any person or event to make us close our hearts, we will be guided by God to be who we are meant to be.

In that space of openness we can then live a life of LOVE, and be guided to where we are meant to be … forever in LOVE.
