This week I have been prompted to meditate on healing.  My post for meditation today was “The winds long to play with your hair“.

For outward healing to be manifested we first must focus on inner healing.  This begins with forgiveness of ourselves, and letting all of the structures that have been built up within us be dismantled.  Think of it like trying to navigate your way through a city of skyscrapers, without a map and you can’t even see the sun.  If that city of skyscrapers were simply a field of long grass, and flowers, well then it would a simple matter of going from Point A to Point B.

The first step in my own personal progression along this path was in learning how to connect to the earth … to ground myself into the Earth.  In essence, we are all just different manifestations of energy: there is rock, and water, and air, and dirt, and you, and me … ashes to ashes, and dust to dust.  We are all part of a cycle.  Just think, centuries of your ancestors are now now one with the Earth … their bodies have dissolved, and their energy has transferred into a different facet, or conduit.

God truly has given us all we need … all we have to do is tap into it.  There is a wellspring of never-ending healing energy just waiting to fill us … the Earth is God’s treasure trove; a vault holding more than we could ever imagine … and God has given ALL of us the keys.

Many of you reading this already know how to ground yourself, so this is “old hat”, but for those who do not I will describe how this works for me:

I place myself in a state of quietude.  Sometimes it may take me ten or fifteen minutes to achieve this, because my mind is whirling about with all of the goings on in the world around me.  Once I am there, I visualize sending my energies into the earth … sometimes that looks like tree roots extending DEEP beneath me, other times my vision of myself  has literally flown down into the earth.  Lately, I find that I have been visualizing this as energy pathways, conduits that seem almost like translucent tubes.

Whatever visual device you use, your goal is to extend your energy into the Earth … to give to the Earth, and in doing so open up a pathway for the Earth to give back to you.

I might take a good half hour or so to really feel the ebb and flow of the Earth’s energy with mine.

Truly, for me, healing takes place from there … as God guides you in how to use this beautiful and endless supply of energy.  You will find that God becomes your teacher … showing you what parts within yourself need to be healed, exhumed, forgiven.  All of this is done by allowing the healing energy of God, from the earth, to flow into the places that are revealed to you.

YOU don’t do anything to heal yourself, not really, you simply act according to God’s guidance and promptings … then you let go and allow the healing to take place.  It’s really about going wherever God wants you to go … and then allowing God to do whatever God wants to do.

This principle for healing extends out from there … but first, we need to be open conduits ourselves … allowing God to cleanse us and wash what is not of God (what is not LOVE) away.

Religion4All is an idea: that every human being (no matter their race, religion, sexuality, social status, lifestyle, or any other possible factor) is LOVED by God; just … as … they are.

We all are loved by God, and NO religion or person has a monopoly on it. Every single person on this planet is loved equally by God … SO many are cut off from God because they are told they don’t belong. God loves everyone … we ALL are beautiful creations … we don’t need to cringe when we hear the words “God”, or “religion”, or their judgments … God LOVES us all!

There is no requirement to change in order to be LOVED by God, or to LOVE God. God is LOVE, and LOVE is God … period. There is no one who God loves more than anyone else … there are only those who choose to LOVE more … to love God more, and consequently then to love each other more. In doing so, we grow closer to God … and know God.

By opening our hearts, and minds to God (free of boundaries like religion, or social trends); by LOVING God … we are exactly where we are meant to be. If we maintain that openness, never allowing any person or event to make us close our hearts, we will be guided by God to be who we are meant to be.

In that space of openness we can then live a life of LOVE, and be guided to where we are meant to be … forever in LOVE.
