In meditating on my prior post (“Abundance that’s present“) I began thinking about all of the things that I am grateful for. The easy things came to mind at first, of course: love, positive family connections, and amazing spiritual progressions. Then things progressed to the not necessarily immediate things, but the big-picture constants: health, my dreams and talents/abilities, friends, etc.
What proved MOST interesting was when I got to the things in my life that have been frustrating for me over the past year. Some things were incredibly difficult … some maybe the most difficult to face in my whole life … yet in facing them and going through the flames, I am where I am! How can I not be grateful for that??
Other things in my life that are ongoing frustrations … things that I often wish I could just change or segue out of … I was able to see are the very things that have allowed me the opportunity to have the time to sit and wait on God. If all of the proverbial triggers were pulled on those specific things? I would have been completely overwhelmed … I would never have been able to make the decisions that I did. A testament to the fact that God knows JUST how much we can or can’t handle.
So in reality, the things that I may have been wishing were different … by those things not happening just yet (or by me not forcing them to happen) are really the things that have allowed me to be patient and wait on God. In a lot of ways, I can look back and see how God has worked everything out thus far … and be grateful for that impeccable timing! It also gives me reassurance that, whenever the timing is right, those things will be worked out as God sees fit … both in timing, as well as execution.
None of us know what God has in store for us. I have been through MANY events that I would normally say I could NEVER be grateful for. However, it is in knowing God intimately that I can now actually say such a thing … because if not for those awful things … I would have been on a different path … and I would never trade my relationship with God for anything.

Religion4All is an idea: that every human being (no matter their race, religion, sexuality, social status, lifestyle, or any other possible factor) is LOVED by God; just … as … they are.
We all are loved by God, and NO religion or person has a monopoly on it. Every single person on this planet is loved equally by God … SO many are cut off from God because they are told they don’t belong. God loves everyone … we ALL are beautiful creations … we don’t need to cringe when we hear the words “God”, or “religion”, or their judgments … God LOVES us all!
There is no requirement to change in order to be LOVED by God, or to LOVE God. God is LOVE, and LOVE is God … period. There is no one who God loves more than anyone else … there are only those who choose to LOVE more … to love God more, and consequently then to love each other more. In doing so, we grow closer to God … and know God.
By opening our hearts, and minds to God (free of boundaries like religion, or social trends); by LOVING God … we are exactly where we are meant to be. If we maintain that openness, never allowing any person or event to make us close our hearts, we will be guided by God to be who we are meant to be.
In that space of openness we can then live a life of LOVE, and be guided to where we are meant to be … forever in LOVE.
